Hi there, I’m Paulina!

Originally from the bustling city of Athens, I always dreamed of a life surrounded by nature and tranquility. In 2001, I decided to make that dream a reality. I left my job in Athens and joined my family’s restaurant in Lefkes, Paros, Greece — embracing the slower, more fulfilling rhythm of island life.

During the COVID period, I finally found the time to pursue a long-held passion: crochet. With countless hours spent learning and practicing, I discovered immense joy in creating handmade pieces.

In 2024, I took a leap of faith and opened a tiny shop for my crochet creations, alongside my online store, SweetSmelling.Gr. Nestled next to our family restaurant, this little fairy-tale corner became a dream come true.

Every morning, I wake up feeling grateful — surrounded by nature, soft colors, beautiful scents, and the company of my beloved pets. Island life is full of small surprises, warmth, and joy, and I cherish every moment of it.

At SweetSmelling.Gr, you’ll find truly handmade crochet creations, made slowly and with love. Each piece is crafted to bring comfort, sweetness, and a little happiness into everyday life.
