Our Shipping Policy

How It Works

Every little treasure from my Fairyhouse is carefully prepared and packaged with love, ready to begin its journey to you! 🩷

Shipping within Greece

Orders within Greece are shipped via ELTA (Hellenic Post), Skroutz Point, or BOX NOW, depending on the shipping option selected at checkout.

Shipping to Cyprus

Orders to Cyprus can be shipped via ELTA (Hellenic Post) or BOX NOW, depending on the available shipping options at checkout.

International Shipping

Orders to other international destinations are shipped via ELTA (Hellenic Post), where delivery service is available.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated according to the destination and selected delivery method.

The applicable shipping fee will be displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.

Processing Times

As many of my creations are lovingly handmade, preparation times may vary depending on the item and whether it is ready to ship or made to order.

For made-to-order or personalized creations, the estimated preparation time will be communicated before your order is confirmed.

Estimated Delivery Times

Once your order has been dispatched, estimated delivery times are:

Greece: 3–5 business days
Cyprus: Depending on the selected shipping provider and delivery method
Other European destinations: 5–10 business days
Rest of the World: 15–20 business days

These are estimated transit times, not guaranteed delivery dates. Delivery times may vary depending on the shipping provider, destination, customs procedures, and seasonal demand.

Please note that these estimates do not include the time needed to prepare or create your handmade order.

Tracking Your Order

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking link, where available, so you can follow your parcel's journey.

Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to become available after dispatch.

If you have any questions about your shipment, I'll be happy to help!

BOX NOW & Skroutz Point Deliveries

If you select BOX NOW or Skroutz Point as your shipping method, I may contact you after your order is placed to confirm your preferred locker or collection point.

This helps ensure that your little handmade treasure reaches the most convenient location for you!

Unclaimed & Returned Parcels

Please make sure that your shipping details are correct and that you collect your parcel within the timeframe specified by the shipping provider.

If your parcel is returned to me because it was unclaimed, the delivery address was incorrect, or the recipient could not be identified, I'll contact you to discuss the next steps.

If you would like your order to be shipped again, you will be responsible for the additional shipping costs, provided the return was not caused by an error on my part or by the shipping provider.

Any refund requests will be handled in accordance with my Returns & Refunds Policy and applicable consumer protection laws.

International Customs & Import Fees

Orders shipped outside the European Union may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or additional charges imposed by the destination country.

Any such charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in the product price or shipping fee.

Our Return Policy

The Small Print

Every creation from my little Greek Fairyhouse is handmade with love and care. I want you to be happy with your purchase, and I'm always here to help if something doesn't go as expected. 💕

Order Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order, please contact me as soon as possible at sweetsmelling.gr@gmail.com.

If your order has not yet been dispatched, I will do my best to accommodate your request, subject to the conditions for personalized creations explained below.

Your statutory cancellation and withdrawal rights remain unaffected.

Made-to-Order & Personalized Creations

Many of my creations are handmade after an order is placed, following the designs available in my shop.

These made-to-order items are generally covered by the same statutory withdrawal rights as ready-made products.

However, creations made or modified according to your individual specifications, such as specially requested dimensions or personalized details, are excluded from the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, where the legal conditions for this exception are met.

For personalized orders, a deposit may be required before production begins. The deposit amount and cancellation conditions will be clearly communicated and agreed upon before your order is confirmed.

If you request cancellation after production has started, all or part of the deposit may be retained to cover reasonable costs already incurred, where permitted by applicable law.

This does not affect your statutory rights if an item is faulty or does not conform to the agreed specifications.

Returns & Right of Withdrawal

For purchases covered by the applicable statutory right of withdrawal, you have 14 calendar days from the day you receive your order to withdraw from your purchase without giving a reason.

To exercise this right, simply email sweetsmelling.gr@gmail.com before the 14-day period expires, clearly stating your decision to withdraw.

Please include your order number to help me identify your purchase quickly. You do not need to explain your decision.

You may use the model withdrawal form provided below, but this is entirely optional.

After notifying me of your withdrawal, please return the items within 14 calendar days.

You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the items, unless otherwise required by law or expressly agreed.

Please package returned items carefully. You may examine them as you would in a physical shop, but you may be responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

Refunds

When you exercise your statutory right of withdrawal, I will refund all payments due under applicable law, including the original standard delivery costs.

If you selected a more expensive delivery option than the least expensive standard delivery offered, the additional cost is not refundable unless required by law.

Refunds will be made within 14 calendar days of receiving your withdrawal notification.

I may withhold reimbursement until I receive the returned goods or you provide evidence that you have sent them back, whichever occurs first.

Refunds will be issued using the original payment method unless we expressly agree otherwise. No refund fees will be charged.

Damaged, Incorrect or Faulty Items

Every creation is carefully checked and packaged before leaving my Fairyhouse.

If your order arrives damaged, incorrect or faulty, please contact me as soon as possible at sweetsmelling.gr@gmail.com.

Photos of the item and packaging are helpful and can make resolving the issue much quicker.

Depending on the circumstances and your statutory rights, an appropriate solution may include repair, replacement, a price reduction or a refund.

Where required by law, I will cover the relevant return or replacement shipping costs.

Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights regarding faulty or non-conforming goods.

Delayed or Missing Parcels

If your parcel hasn't arrived within the estimated delivery timeframe, please contact me. I'll be happy to investigate the delay with the shipping provider.

International deliveries may occasionally take longer due to customs procedures or circumstances beyond our control.

Any investigation with the shipping provider will be handled without affecting your statutory rights regarding delayed or undelivered orders.

Model Withdrawal Form
